Fall Bingo - Decor and Goody Bags

Last Saturday, I held my second Stampin' Up! Bingo Party. It was so much fun! For this time, I went with a fall theme even though it was over 100 degrees this past weekend. This week, I'll be sharing the projects I prepped and the make n takes from the party.

Today's post is all about the decor and goody bags. I didn't go overboard, but I just had to make something cute to be put on the table. I found a tutorial online for this adorable little treat boxes. Once I stamped and die cut the jars, I added some cute punched scarecrows from last year's stamp set. Inside, there are bags of M&Ms tied with with some great retired Delightful Dijon ribbon.

For the goody bags, I bought some plain kraft gift bags in bulk. Seriously I got 50 bags for super cheap. Thanks Amazon! For there, I found some leftover die cut flowers from about three years ago. I used the patterns and colors as my palette. I punched some tags and stamped them all over with the retired Four Feathers stamp set. I finished off the tags with copper thread and the rest of the feathers. The tags were attached to the bags with some great retired Blackberry Bliss Ribbon.

Washi Tape Reindeer

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using our favorite accessories from the Holiday Catalog. Anyone who knows me, knows I love washi tape! It's always on my ordering list for each new catalog. I couldn't resist the super fun and festive Pinecones and Presents Washi Tape set.

For my card, I decided to highlight this great accessory without a lot of extra supplies. After adding the sentiment and punched out reindeer, the card was missing that last touch. Thank goodness I had some enamel shapes that matched the color scheme. Perfect!

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using the technique below.

I decided to use my colored and embossed piece of cardstock to frame this little spooky skeleton. I'm especially fond of the polka dot pattern paper peeking through the oval and the edges. As a finishing touch, I added some Pumpkin Pie enamel dots to help "bling" up my card.

I decided to make a Halloween card using the colors I found in the picture. I want to featured the great Halloween Night DSP and the Pumpkin Pie Glitter Paper. From there, I decided to add some Halloween stamps but didn't want to just use one of the big images from the Cookie Cutter Halloween set. Instead, I used the cute little bat in the set. Instead of just stamping the bat, I filled a jar full of bats and had them spill out. Such a fun card!

  • Inks: Pumpkin Pie; Basic Black; Basic Gray
  • Cardstock: Halloween Night DSP; Pumpkin Pie Glitter Paper; Pumpkin Pie; Smoky Slate; Basic Gray

As soon as I saw the Cookie Cutter Halloween set, I knew I had to have it! I wanted to highlight the cute little beasties, so I decided to stack them in "windows" using some coordinating cardstock and the gorgeous Pumpkin Pie Glitter Paper. Seriously, it is so sparkly! I love it! For my background, I doctored the dsp adding some pumpkin pie splatters and bats. I finished my card with a few strips of washi tape. With everything going on, I decided to forego a sentiment. I love this little card!

Repeating Scarecrow

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a fall themed card. Since I played with the vampire, skeleton, and mummy images on another card, I thought I would dedicate this card to the cute scarecrow. I made my own patterned paper by repeatedly stamping the scarecrow in Soft Suede. From there, I stamped a separate scarecrow and had fun coloring him in with makers. I finished the card with a die cut sentiment and some washi tape.

  • Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween; Kinda Eclectic
  • Inks: Soft Suede; Night of Navy; Real Red; Old Olive; Delightful Dijon; Plum Perfect

SSINKCS37: Trio of Beasties

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using the sketch below.

One of my first purchases from the new Holiday Catalog was the Cookie Cutter Bundle including the Cookie Cutter Punch and Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set. So adorable! Of course, I had to add the coordinating Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set to have even more fun with the bundle. I had a ton of fun stamping these three beasties and mounting them on the same card. (The set also comes with a scarecrow and some accessories.)  The beasties were cute but needed some great embellishments. Enter the shiny Halloween Night washi tape and some metallic doilies. Such a cute little Halloween themed card!

  • Inks: Real Red; Basic Black
  • Cardstock: Halloween Night DSP; Real Red; Whisper White
