It's a Sundae!

Today’s card features one of the Occasions Catalog Bundles. I love the Dragonfly Bundle, but my second favorite has quickly become the Cool Treats Bundle. I love making different frozen treat cards. For today's card, I had to make a fun sundae. After making my centerpiece, I added some fun layering pieces of pattern paper, washi tape, and a sweet sentiment.

A Card for Mom

Today'’s card theme is Mother's Day. When I think of Mother's Day, I always think of flowers. Of course I had to use my favorite floral stamp set, Birthday Blooms, to create this card! I did something a little different in coloring only the layered piece. And no flower is complete without a bumblebee! Overall, I'm really digging the style of this card.

So Happy Together

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a wedding or anniversary card. I found this great design on Pinterest and had to use it to create a simple yet striking card. I kept my sentiment vague to be able to use this for a wedding, an engagement, or an anniversary. I didn't love the entirety of the Falling in Love DSP Paper Stack, but the bokeh pieces were amazing! This piece was my favorite.

Celebrating the Earth

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card in celebration of Earth Day tomorrow. Of course I had to go with something involving flowers and animals. I settled on this gorgeous flower from Remarkable You and the little bee from Dragonfly Dreams. It's hard to see in the picture, but I colored the inside of the flower with gold Wink of Stella. Gives the card the bit of bling it needed.

Baby Quilt

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to make a baby card. My sister is due in May with her first baby, a boy, so of course I had to make a great card for her. I loved making quilt card during Christmastime, but they do take so long. Even so, I decided to try it again. Instead of paper paper, I decorated each square with an image from the Bookcase Builder stamp set. I love how these cards turned out. So cute!

A variation using my favorite two colors: Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry

Party Animal

Today’s card is a variation on a card that I made during my March Birthday Celebration. I mixed up the pattern paper using scraps from the paper pack. Instead of a flower, I decided to attach a fun ice cream cone instead.

Medallion Thanks

Leftover card from my Sale-a-Bration stash. I resisted getting this stamp set, because... I have no idea. I love this image and the ability to mix and match colors and patterns. For this card, I figured out a little trick. After multiple failed attempts to line up the different pieces, I started with the darkest color. It was so much easier to see where to stamp the next layer. Once I got my medallion squared away, I added a fun scalloped piece underneath and a fun piece of glimmer paper. So sad that this stamp set and the glimmer paper is retired!

  • Stamps: Make a Medallion
  • Inks: Delightful Dijon; Night of Navy; Mint Macaron
  • Cardstock: Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper; Night of Navy; Mint Macaron; Whisper White
  • Accessories:
  • Tools: Layering Circles Framelits

Happy Easter

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin' Stampin' Inkspriation. The challenge was to create an Easter card. I don't make many Easter cards, but I knew I wanted to do something cute and fun. And then I stumbled upon the bunny butt card on Pinterest. Perfect! I pulled out a ton of dies and started picking out the right shapes and sizes to make my own bunny butt. My only hangup happened when I realized that I white feet are the smallest size oval I own. Darn! I just had to fussy cut the Blushing Bride inserts.
