November Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

Set up a craft area in the new house — Success. I’ll have to do a big of craft area tour soon.
Finish my random card projects — Finally wrapped up a stack of random half-done cards. Now I can move on to new stuff.
September MP Pages — Success! I got these done before leaving Indiana.
Set up my first Nebraska meet up — Success for planning it, fail for no one showing up

November Goals:

Schedule Christmas card classes and a crop — I want to get all these on the schedule and start prepping.
Catch up on MP pages — I’ve started my October pages and want to finish them out.
Get back into Project Life? — As I was puling out supplies I got the urge to dive back in. Now that we have a home photo printer, I may need to reassess my progress.
Plan out December Daily ideas — Need to prep!
Pull out and organize Christmas supplies — I want my Christmas cards done by the end of this month. Better get my supplies out now!

October Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

August MP Pages — Success! I finished this off during my retreat weekend.
Finish September SSINK posts — Success! I even took care of four October cards already.
Have a successful Fall Bingo Event — We had so much fun! I will miss my ladies.
Send out Birthday Thank You Cards — Success! I got these prepped and sent within two weeks of the party.
Finish packing craft area — Success!

October Goals: We are settling into our new house in a new state this month. I need to keep my craft goals simple, but I do want to get back into it a bit.

Set up a craft area in the new house — I have no idea where I’m going to put this stuff yet.
Finish my random card projects — I have a small stack of projects to finish up.
September MP Pages — Got this started this week, but I want to finish it soon.
Set up my first Nebraska meet up — I have one scheduled for the end of the month. I hope to add some more for November.

September Crafting Goals

May, June, July 2018 PL Pages -- Success!
June and July MP Pages -- Success!
August and September SSINK posts -- 50% Success! I still have a few September posts I want to finish, but I did get a fair number done.
Fall Bingo Make n Takes -- Fail. Well, really I got parts of them started, but I can't finish until I get the Bingo supply order that I submitted yesterday...
August Stamp Club Projects -- Success! Like usual I finished them two days before the event, but they got done.
Organize planner supplies -- Success! All my supplies are in an big Iris case or in my actual planner. Plus, I laid out my kits for September and October.
Pack up PL supplies -- Success!

September Goals: It's moving month! So crafting will be taking a back seat to actually moving and getting everything else taken care of. But, I'm hoping to sneak in a few projects...

August MP Pages -- Hoping to get this done before we move. I might even get half of September finished before we leave or take it with me to Indiana.
Finish September SSINK posts (maybe do a couple of October before we move) -- I know I will be taking a few weeks off from SSINK in the midst of the move, but I want to get some finished beforehand.
Have a successful Fall Bingo Event -- Really looking forward to this on Sept. 8th.
Send out Birthday Thank You Cards -- I've got them prepped, just need to write the notes and get them sent.
Finish packing craft area -- Just a few more boxes to go, but it will have to wait until after the 8th.

August Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals: Turn's out that July was just not my month when it came to crafting. I ended up taking an unscheduled blogging break for two weeks. I just couldn't keep up with everything else going on.

May 2018 PL pages -- Fail
June MP Pages -- Fail
July and August SSINK posts -- Fail

August Goals: We are moving at the end of September, so I need to streamline my crafting projects and goals.

May, June, July 2018 PL Pages -- I'm getting behind!!! I have the pictures printed so I just need to make my spreads.
June and July MP Pages -- I also want to catch up in this project.
August and September SSINK posts -- I had to take a break so now I'm behind.
Fall Bingo Make n Takes -- I think I have decided on what to buy and feature, but now I need to order and make the examples.
August Stamp Club Projects -- My last stamp club while in California.
Organize planner supplies -- I need to figure out what I am packing and what to leave out for travel time.
Pack up PL supplies -- I need to finish the first listed project so I can then finish this goal.

July Crafting Goals

May 2018 PL Pages -- Fail. I have the pictures printed, but haven't gotten to the pages yet.
May MP Pages -- Success!
June, July, and August SSINK Posts -- Mostly a fail. I posted on all the prompts for June, but haven't really worked ahead yet. Hoping to get some crafting mojo back soon.
Make a summer chore chart -- Success
Arthur's 2017 PL album -- Success! Ready to get 2018's started.
Organize planner supplies -- Success! I went through all my stickers and organized by functional and decorative and then broke decorative down my months. I also sorted through all the other planner bits.
June, July, and August's SU Purchases -- Mostly successful. I still need to figure out August's purchases.
June, July, and August's Classes -- Fail. Utter fail.

July Goals: This month is going to be super busy, so I'm keeping my goals small...

May 2018 PL Pages -- Hoping to get this month knocked out.
June MP Pages -- Trying to stay up to date.
July and August SSINK posts -- Need to stay up to date.

June Crafting Goals

Celebrate National Scrapbooking Day (May 5th) -- Fail. We went to a birthday party and the day just got away from me. I did spend time this month scrapbooking, but my schedule is so unpredictable.
April MP Pages -- Success! Love doing these pages.
Finish My Retiring Series -- Success! I highlighted a ton of retiring stamps in May.
Start working on Arthur's 2017 PL album -- Fail. Hopefully in June...
Start planning classes for June -- Fail. I got so wrapped up in other life tasks that this one slipped on by.
Add retiring items to my yard sale -- Success! I pulled all my retiring items, priced them, and have them ready to sell. Hope someone wants some of my items...

June Goals:

May 2018 PL Pages -- Hoping to get back up-to-date this month.
May MP Pages -- Keeping up...
June, July, and August SSINK posts -- I definitely won't finish these, but I do want to plan out which ones I want to do.
Make a summer chore chart -- I've got the idea of what I want to create for this summer, just need to buckle down and make it.
Arthur's 2017 PL album -- I need to go back and start with the backlog of Project Life months.
Organize planner supplies -- Right now I've acquired a ton of sticker books and single sheets of stickers for my planner. Unfortunately they are everywhere and I'm taking way too much time each week sorting through them. So, I need to organize these.
June, July, and August's SU Purchases -- I want to lay out my purchasing plan for the next few months. This will require me to think about what classes and cards I think I want to make in the next three months.
June, July, and August's Classes -- Associated with the above goal, I want to think about and starting planning my classes for the summer.

May Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

Decide on (and prep) May's class topics -- Success! I decided to do a big card kit sale for May. Everyone who comes gets to make cards for $1-2 per card and I get to clean out my card kits just in time for the new catalog in June.
Finish September - November PL Family pages -- Success! Now I just need to play catch up on Arthur and Quentin's albums...
Decide on my preorder strategy for May -- Success! With the big Color Revamp I really wanted to think about what to buy first. I've decided on a few new ink colors, a couple of stamps, and some accessories. I'm not going crazy this preorder period, but I wanted a bit to play with...
March MP Pages -- Success!
Craft destash -- Success! I pulled a ton of random bits from stash, priced them, and even sold some during Bingo. I might end up donated a small box to the local elementary school this coming month.

May's Goals:

Celebrate National Scrapbooking Day (May 5th) -- We have a birthday party to attend that day, but I want to slide in some scrapbooking that afternoon/night. And I might just do a flash sale of some kind...
April MP Pages -- Trying to stay up with this goal
Finish My Retiring Series -- I want to make a few more cards to feature retiring stamp sets before I move on to the new products.
Start working on Arthur's 2017 PL album -- Now that I finished the Family album and started 2018's album, I need to go back and finish Arthur and Quentin's albums. I'm going to start with Arthur. I use the family album as a template so it shouldn't take a lot of time.
Start planning classes for June -- Thinking about new products, maybe a technique class, possibly another quick and easy class.
Add retiring items to my yard sale -- I can't sell them until the new catalog launches, but I can figure out what I want to sell and start pricing items.

April Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

Finish April - July PL Family pages -- Success! I snuck June and July in on the 31st, but I did get them done!
Order Spring Bingo supplies and prizes -- Success!! Now to organize all my prizes and finish putting together the supply bags.
Cardstock Inventory for April -- Success! Inventory has been done. My list of cardstock to buy has been created. Now to order it.
February MP Pages -- Success! I finally found a bit of time to get this one done.
Work on April-May Class Projects -- Success! I have Coloring Class, Quick and Easy Cards, and DSP Part 2 kits assembled and ready for class. I'm taking a look at what to do for May (thinking. maybe a clearance card kits class, card buffet, and maybe sneak peek class).
Pull (and send) March and April cards -- Success! I've sent all of March's cards and have pulled all of April's cards. I just need to buy some stamps so I can send them out this month.

April Goals:

Decide on (and prep) May's Class topics -- I have April's classes all set, so time to think about May's classes. May is a weird month as it's the last month in the annual catalog, but it's preorder month for demos. Depending on the week, I might have to new products, but I don't want to rely on getting new stuff.
Finish September - November PL Family pages -- Need to continue knocking out the months and finish my 2017 album. Then I can hopefully get caught up on the 2018 album and work backwards for Arthur and Quentin's 2017 albums.
Decide on my preorder strategy for May -- Related to my first goal. I want to be strategic about what I purchase during preorder.
March MP Pages -- I need to stay on top of this ongoing goal.
Craft destash -- I'm planning on having everything ready to go on Spring Bingo day for a 50% off sale that day only. Anything left over is going to be posted on my FB group.

March Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

Lay out my Craft purchases for Feb, Mar, and April --
Evaluate my unfinished projects -- Success! I made a master list of projects and have prioritized some of them.
Complete one unfinished project -- Success! I actually finished my September 2017 30 Days of Lists, 2017 Memory Planner, and 2017 December Daily.
Lay out and complete February and March SSINK cards -- Partial success... I've completed my February cards, but the March list came out pretty late. So those cards are not finished.
Print pictures for MP 2017 and December Daily 2017 -- Success! I actually printed my pictures and finished the projects.

March Goals:

Finish April-July PL Family pages -- I really need to get moving on this big goal.
Order Spring Bingo supplies and prizes -- Bingo is scheduled for April 7th! I plan on taking advantage of SAB rewards and ordering my supplies in late March.
Cardstock Inventory for April -- Traditionally my April SU order is all cardstock to resupply. I need to do my inventory so I know what to buy next month.
February MP Pages -- I've got most of my pictures printed. I'm hoping to stay on top of this goal.
Work on April-May Class Projects -- I'm working on DSP class, Coloring Class, and Quick and Easy Class for April and May. The DSP class kits are almost done, the others have been even been started...
Pull (and send) March and April cards -- I've got a few birthdays in the next two months.

February Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

December Daily Pages -- Fail. I just didn't get around to it. Hoping to tackle this soon...
Finish (and send out) Holiday albums) -- Success! I managed to complete them and send before I left Indiana.
Finish 2017 Memory Planner -- Fail. Too busy doing other projects.
Layout 2018 Memory Planner -- Fail. Ditto.
Reevaluate my ongoing and leftover projects -- 50% fail. I started this, but I know I need to pull everything out!
Restart Stamp Club for January through June -- Success! I have three ladies ready to craft a few months.
Rejoin the SSINK Design Team -- Success! I joined the team again and started posting cards.
Schedule January, February, and March events and classes -- Success! I have a rotation of craft classes, crop days, coffee and cards, and stamp clubs on the calendar.

February Goals:

Lay out my Craft purchases for Feb, Mar, and April -- I want to make sure I purchase strategically throughout the rest of the Occasions Catalog and Annual Catalog (well, before preorder for the next AC begins).
Evaluate my unfinished projects -- I wanted to do this in January, but never really got around to it. I need to pull everything out, notate my progress, prioritize, and get started completing!
Complete one unfinished project -- See above
Lay out and complete February and March SSINK cards -- I've got some cards done for February, but I love to work ahead. I want to get my cards for the next two months done before the retreat (Feb. 22nd)
Print pictures for MP 2017 and December Daily 2017 -- I know that I need to print some pics for these two photos before tackling them.
