December 2014 Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

30 Days of Pinterest Projects – Fail. Life just got away from me this month. I had too many other set projects (December Daily, Christmas cards, etc). Plus, moving required me to pack a majority of the house with a one year old in tow. I just couldn't spend any time or brain power to completing this challenge. Maybe in the spring...
30 Days of Gratitude — Success! I finished a card for each day. The last week's cards are ready to be placed in my album when we get back from Indiana.
Finish my Christmas cards – Success! I finished and sent them before Thanksgiving. Crazy I know, but it was the only way it was going to get done.
Catch up with PL before leaving for Indiana – Fail. I didn't get the last two weeks done. Thankfully I made some notes and left space in my album so I get these done right away in January.
Create a travel DD kit to work on in Indiana – Success! I took a makeup bag from Target and made a nice little travel kit. Love it! I'll have to share my kit organization next week.
Make calendars to give as gifts — Fail... well a 50% fail. I have one started and about 60% done, but I need to get a few more things to finish it. Thankfully I have all of next month.
Destash before Thanksgiving – Success! I do a great job at sorting through my craft stuff before it was boxed. Unpacking and creating my new craft space in January should be a breeze.

This month’s goals:

30 Days of December Daily -- First time tackling this project. I've got my travel kit of supplies and the base pages. Now to get moving documenting the days.
Finish grandma's calendar -- About 60% done at the start of December. I can definitely finish this one before Christmas.
Finish the December Memories albums -- Ambitious, but I want to give everyone their completed albums by the 31st.
Finish my year end posts before my blogging break on Dec. 22nd -- I will be taking a blogging break from 12/22 to 1/6, but first I want to get my posts finished for the start of 2015.
Create a 2015 blog plan and ideas list -- Always part of my blogging break activities. You won't see posts up during the break, but I am working behind the scenes.
Make a organization plan for my new craft space -- I didn't get to unpack before flying to Indiana, but I have pictures of the space and some ideas. Now to really think about and plan what I want. I forsee some Ikea items and maybe a trip to The Container Store.
Start/plan my PL journal planner -- Oh Life went out of business so I needed a different way of documenting daily activities to use for PL. I bought a planner that fits in the diaper bag, but right now it's unadorned and plain. I need to jazz it up and plan how I really want to use it.

November 2014 Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

30 Days of Cards -- Success! I actually did it. A bit hectic some weeks, but I made it to the end.
Prep my December Daily album -- Fail. Never got around to it with all the crazy. Next month!
Create card/scrapbooking kits for sale -- Fail. Probably not going to happen before the Nov. 15th craft fair.
Organize my to sell items for upcoming craft fairs -- Success! I got all the greeting cards put into plastic sleeves and organized by theme. Ready to go.
Gather and package Arthur's 1st Birthday Goody bags -- Success! They were adorable.
Make Arthur's 1st Birthday Thank You Cards -- Success! Finished these before the party!

This month’s goals:

30 Days of Pinterest Projects -- I'm going to finally do it. An entire month of Pinterest projects. Some might be small (a card or a blog task), while others are more involved (large crafts, cleaning projects).
30 Days of Gratitude -- My pages are prepped (check them out here) and I'm ready to do this!
Finish my Christmas cards -- I have to finish these this month. We are leaving for Indiana on the 24th and I don't want to haul all my supplies.
Catch up with PL before leaving for Indiana -- Given
Create a travel DD kit to work on in Indiana -- I can't take my entire Christmas supply stash, but I want a little something to work on and finish my DD album while there.
Make calendars to give as gifts -- This was a requested gift. I made them two years ago, and last year my grandma was upset that she didn't get a new one. I've got the supplies sitting in a box, just want to get them together before leaving for Indiana.
Destash before Thanksgiving -- We are moving soon and I want to seriously destash before going back to Indiana. I'm thinking lots of lovely ladies in my FB groups are going to be receiving some RAKs. Maybe I'll have a contest here on the blog...

October 2014 Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

Plan out classes and sample cards for September and October -- Success! I've got all my samples made for Sept and Oct and classes all planned. Now I need to start working on November...
Create a for sale/for free box to put out at classes -- Success!I put out a box at meet and greet and actually got rid of some things. I plan on leaving the box out at my future classes until we get ready to move. Then, I'll probably just send the rest out as RAKs and/or trash it.
Finish and document my 30 Days of Lists -- Success! I actually stuck with it throughout the month and completed my first 30 Days of Lists.
Catch up on PL albums (family and Arthur) -- 50/50 I am caught up with the family album, but Arthur's is far behind. I really need to spend some time on his.
Reorganize my PL card collections -- Fail. I started organizing, but realize that I need a better system. I'll have to spend some time thinking about how to fix it.
Finish my Holiday and Demo event swap cards -- Success! I got both done before they were due. Thank goodness!

This month’s goals:

30 Days of Cards -- Yep, I am going to attempt to make a card a day for the entire month of October. We'll see how this goes.
Prep my December Daily album -- Another big project for me. I fully intend to have this prepped and ready to show off for a class in November. Plus, I want to have it ready to document our December fun.
Create card/scrapbooking kits for sale -- As part of the craft fairs I'm participating in, I want to create a few kits to sell.
Organize my to sell items for upcoming craft fairs -- I need to pull my inventory, price it, and possibly plan out a few other crafts to make.
Gather and package Arthur's 1st Birthday Goody bags -- The items are coming in the mail. I can't wait!
Make Arthur's 1st Birthday Thank You Cards -- I want these done before his party on the 11th.

September 2014 Crafting Goals

A recap of last month’s goals:

Participate in at least 5 card making challenges (e.g. Mojo Monday, Dynamic Duos, etc) – Fail! I did participate in a few demo swaps, but no challenges. I really want to do more challenges.
Complete July and August’s monthly pages -- Fail! I just don't think this project is going to go anywhere. I should just scrap it.
Plan out two crafts for Arthur’s birthday party in October – Fail! Just didn't get around to it.
Put up my retired sets to sell on the FB groups – Success! I put some things onto FB to sell and actually got rid of some things. Other supplies I am RAKing. Finally getting rid of the extra.
Reorganize my DSP box – Success! I got things organized and realized that I have way too much retired DSP.
Delete one retired DSP Pinterest board – Fail! Been playing with all my new toys instead of getting rid of the retired.

This month’s goals:

Plan out classes and sample cards for September and October -- With my newly formed crafting Meetup group, my partner and I scheduled a ton of classes for the next two months. Now I need to get my butt in gear and actually make the sample cards and supply lists.
Create a for sale/for free box to put out at classes -- I need to do another weed out of my stash for free and for sale things. Hopefully I can get rid of all this stuff before Christmas.
Finish and document my 30 Days of Lists -- I signed up and paid for the class. Now I need to just actually keep up with the lists.
Catch up on PL albums (family and Arthur) -- I'm only a few weeks behind. Time to get caught up before the holidays are upon us.
Reorganize my PL card collections -- I feel like I have PL card sets all over the craft class and I do. I need a better system of storing and easily pulling out any given card set. It's an ongoing issue...
Finish my Holiday and Demo event swap cards -- I have 10 cards to make for the Holiday swap and 50 cards to make for the event swap. That's two designs and 60 cards to make within the first week of the month. This should be interesting.

August 2014 Crafting Goals

A recap of last month's goals:

Make July 6x6 Monthly Page -- Failed. I completely forgot about this goal. Argh!
Figure out what to do with the rest of retired/don't want supplies (possible RAKs) -- 50% success. I sold some of my retired sets at a local garage sale. I need to put the rest of it onto my FB groups.
Complete 3 PL spreads -- Success! I got behind in my weekly spreads, but I ended the month completely caught up!
Try a new card making technique -- Success! I made a few cards incorporating PL cards. They turned out cuter than I thought they would.
Prep blog posts through August -- Fail. I'm so far behind on the back end of my blogs. I really need to catch up.
Try a baby craft -- Success! We made discovery bottles at the summer social. Lots of fun! Arthur still likes playing with his. Now to think of a few new craft ideas for this coming month and Arthur's birthday party.

This month's goals:

Participate in at least 5 card making challenges (e.g. Mojo Monday, Dynamic Duos, etc) -- I had fun making a few cards last month. I want to try to make some more cards based off of challenges.
Complete July and August's monthly pages -- I need to catch up
Plan out two crafts for Arthur's birthday party in October -- I want to get an early start on planning for his party in October. I have Pinterest board, but it needs to be curated a little better. And I need to make a supply list.
Put up my retired sets to sell on the FB groups -- They need to be gone now.
Reorganize my DSP box -- This box is a huge mess. I need to organize and plan a bit better. And then use the paper instead of just hoarding it.
Delete one retired DSP Pinterest board -- Related to the last goal, I want to get rid of at least one pack of retired DSP by actual using it (and possibly selling/RAKing the rest)

July 2014 Crafting Goals

A recap of last month's goals:

Stay on top of Project Life -- Fail. I'm a few weeks behind. I really need to catch up but feel like that won't happen until after the twins leave.
Use the SU set for a PL spread -- Check! I've done two weekly spreads so far using the Everyday Adventure Card Collection and Accessory Pack.
Plan a workshop or class -- Check! Although I'm not having much luck when it comes to customers...
Put finishing touches on the Summer Bucket List notebook -- Check! I was 90% finished by the time the boys arrived on the 3rd. As the month has gone on, we have added our ephemera and experiences.
Price and possibly sell my retired stamp sets -- Check! I listed a ton of retired stamp sets and random other stamps on my FB Swap and Sell group. I've already sold 2 sets and sent some others with a friend for a garage sale.
Make June 6x6 Monthly Page -- Check! Here's the link to my sample. I hope to continue this goal each month.

June 2014 Crafting Goals

Just a few little goal reminders to keep me on track. Usually I will recap last month's goals and my progress, but as this is the first goal post, I don't have any to share from May. Here are my goals for this month:
