Sunny Celebration

Today’s card is the result of me playing around my Busho crystals more. I love the idea of adding color to black and white pattern paper. I dug through my scrap stash until I found a suitable piece and stared adding color. First I brayered on some Daffodil Delight ink as a base. I then added orange Brusho crystals and water, repeating until I received the desired effect. To finish off the card, I added some coordinating ribbon from my retired stash and simple sentiment.

I Heart Birthdays

Today’s card is another fun CASE from our demonstrator magazine. The original design showed a variety of patterned flowers on top of a two layer pattern piece. So, I dug through my random scrap stash and found a collection of Smoky Slate, Mint Macaron, and Calypso Coral pieces to coordinate together. I added a fun sentiment with hand-drawn border and a piece of retired Basic Gray ribbon.

Panda Expedition

Today’s card has been approved by Arthur. He told me that this one was his favorite of all the cards I’ve made so far. He just loves the Party Pandas. And I agree that it’s such a fun stamp set! I had to featured this retired Sale-a-Bration set today. I coordinated my panda with a few patterns from the Animal Expedition DSP pack. The design is another example from our demonstrator magazine that I modified.

Blue Butterfly Scraps

Today’s card is another random scrap card. I dug through my scrap pile and found all these cute pieces featuring blue and yellow. I found a similar design on an old Pinterest board and modified it to my own supplies. Really love this bright card!

Big Purple Flower

Today’s card features another watercolor image. I previously colored the large butterfly image in the Beautiful Day stamp set and thought today I would color the large flower. Of course I had to make it purple and feature my favorite retiring color, Fresh Fig. I kept the rest of the card pretty simple to highlight my flower.

A quick and easy card for today. I took a piece of black and white paper, cut it in two, and rolled on some ink. Easy peasy to create a fun background. I finished my card off with some cute coordinating enamel shapes from my stash.

Washi Celebration

Today’s card features just a few rolls from my washi tape collection. I have so much washi and only use it in my planner spreads. But I pulled some pretty ones out and created my own background piece for this simple card.

Pastel Love

Today’s card was an attempt to use random DSP scraps. I always have a box of random scraps and hoped to get some inspiration from them. I took my card design from an example in our demonstrator magazine, but tailored it to my stamp sets and papers I found. I kept most of the card simple just hoping to focus on the stamped piece and pattern papers.

Today’s card is a CASE from Deb Naylor @ The Flying Stamper. I loved the simplicity of the design added with the color blocking and embossed texture. I just had to make my own. I changed the card only to fit my own supplies, but I had to keep the main elements the same.

Sprinkle Tree

Today’s card is one of those cards that has been sitting my card stash half-finished for months… I had stamped the tree and bike, but never went any further. This pretty pink tree was the perfect base for another birthday card. So I added a sentiment, pierced some holes (for a more interesting design), and some retired candy dots. Simple yet pretty.
