Reading: Demonglass and Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins. After some more adult reads, I'm taking a bit of a YA break to finish this series.

Watching: J and I have been on a movie kick lately. I actually made a watch list in my bujo because I keep forgetting the movies I want to watch. Now we can look at the short list, pick something to watch, and cross it off! (I'm a huge lister and completionist over here.)

Listening: I downloaded some albums onto my Apple Music app and one of my selections was the new Black Veil Brides album. I love some metal every once in awhile!

Making: I'm trying to finish a month in our family Project Life album from last year. Currently working on April and May. Plus, I'm documenting Week in the Life this week so I'm mentally planning spreads and stories for the album.

Feeling: Last week, I felt very scattered in my tasks and plans. This week, I'm much much more focused.

Planning: I've got a few new craft classes scheduled for April and May. I need to prep the rest of the card kits. I've also got Spring Bingo scheduled. Now I need to plan out my make n takes and finalize the prizes. Finally, I've still got one project to design for March stamp club and I need to start thinking about April stamp club (last in this round).

Loving: My birthday was yesterday! We don't usually have anything big planned, but I do love commemorating it in some way. The retreat a few weekends back acted as my big present, but I also made sure to have a dessert and a few other little self-care items the day of.

Amazing You

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum, and Soft Sky.

I decided to play with layering images from the Amazing You stamp set. After setting down my layer of stamped images, I stamped another flower, colored it with the Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends, and cut it out to add some dimension. Finally I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots to the card.

Spring Jar of Flowers

Today's card is a riot of spring flowers. When I want to make a colorful card, I often turn to the Jar of Love stamp set and coordinating Framelits. I love making floral cards! For this one, I layered a ton of flowers to create my jar of flowers, heat embossed a piece of vellum to create the jar, and added a ton fo fun texture to finish the card. I've been playing with texture lately and love how this card has real texture (ribbon, tinsel, embossed panel) and perceived texture (wood grain dsp). Such a great all occasions card!

March Crafting Goals

c-march.jpg

A recap of last month’s goals:

  • Lay out my Craft purchases for Feb, Mar, and April --
  • Evaluate my unfinished projects -- Success! I made a master list of projects and have prioritized some of them.
  • Complete one unfinished project -- Success! I actually finished my September 2017 30 Days of Lists, 2017 Memory Planner, and 2017 December Daily.
  • Lay out and complete February and March SSINK cards -- Partial success... I've completed my February cards, but the March list came out pretty late. So those cards are not finished.
  • Print pictures for MP 2017 and December Daily 2017 -- Success! I actually printed my pictures and finished the projects.

March Goals:

  • Finish April-July PL Family pages -- I really need to get moving on this big goal.
  • Order Spring Bingo supplies and prizes -- Bingo is scheduled for April 7th! I plan on taking advantage of SAB rewards and ordering my supplies in late March.
  • Cardstock Inventory for April -- Traditionally my April SU order is all cardstock to resupply. I need to do my inventory so I know what to buy next month.
  • February MP Pages -- I've got most of my pictures printed. I'm hoping to stay on top of this goal.
  • Work on April-May Class Projects -- I'm working on DSP class, Coloring Class, and Quick and Easy Class for April and May. The DSP class kits are almost done, the others have been even been started...
  • Pull (and send) March and April cards -- I've got a few birthdays in the next two months.
