Today’s card set are a CASE from Amy Koenders. I love the simplicity of a big sentiment and some Washi tape. I pulled some sentiments and Washi tape from stash and put together four slightly different cards.

Lime and Lipstick Christmas

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a Christmas card featuring nontraditional colors. I love lime green and pink for Christmas cards, so I ran with that color palette. After searching through my DSP container, I stumbled upon the Broadway Bound DSP featuring both colors. Perfect! I set to creating a stack of presents as the center piece of my card. I kept the design simple and only added a sentiment and piece of ribbon to finish the card.

Farmhouse Blessings

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using a color technique. I’m all about my Stampin’ Up! markers to add that little bit of something extra to my cards. For today’s card, I layered on the patterns before stamping and coloring in my central image and sentiment. Every once in awhile, I love playing with a ton of patterns.

Santa and Snow

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a with the theme of Winter Wonderland. I stumbled upon this card from Sandra Korten and I just had to CASE it. She uses a great combination of colors and elements to create a very fun winter card. I kept most of her elements while subbing out the colored paper and twine.

3D Christmas Tree

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card featuring some punch art. I choose to go simple and create a Christmas tree out of one of my punches. After digging through, I settled on the Christmas bulb punch to create the “leaves.” From there, I stamped some leaf detail using a retired stamp and got to punching. After assembling my tree, I added a few ornaments with a hole punch and a tree topper with a star punch. For a final touch, I added some Wink of Stella “snow” to my card face.

All is Bright Suite

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card featuring one of the Holiday Catalog Suites. As soon as I got my catalog, I knew I needed to have the All is Bright Suite! I love the color combinations, the paper, accessories, and all the coordinating stamp sets! This card is all about using the various elements from that suite.  I had fun layering various elements to create a full card. My favorite part is the addition of the paper clip.

SSINKTC54: Copper Starburst

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using the starburst technique. I love making starburst cards even if they take a bit of planning and construction. I was drawn to the beautiful shine in the Joyous Noel DSP. To amp up the sparkle, I added some of the Copper Glimmer paper from the accompanying Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper pack. I added a coordinating strip of DSP and a simple sentiment to complete my card.
