Floral CASE

Today’s card is a CASE from Sharon Hashimoto Burket @ As the Ink Dries. I loved the clean and simple look of her card and set out to make my own version! Obviously I changed up the colors and embellishments, but I made sure to keep the basic design the same.

Today’s card is a CASE from Charlet Mallett @ Painted Orange. I loved her take on layering pattern and texture. Of course I put my own spin on her card and used a piece of scrap DSP from the retired Delightful Daisy pack. And I used a few retired flower charms sitting in my bling stash.

Faux Mondrian

Today’s card is continuing my coloring spree! I made this faux Mondrian card to accompany yesterday’s stained glass card. So much fun to make!

Birthday Stained Glass Window

Why have I not colored more of this beautiful Graceful Glass Vellum DSP?? I have no idea! At least I pulled out this stained glass piece to create a centerpiece for today’s birthday card. So pretty in person!

Glitter Unicorn

Today’s card is all about the sparkle! I found a chunk of this fun unicorn patterned paper just hanging out and had to create a fun and sparkly card to match it! I combined two retired framelit sets to create my scene. From there, I added a sentiment and some fun shiny pink sequins I picked up from the Target Dollar Spot some years back.

Simple Daisy Birthday

Today’s card is another attempt to use some great scrap pieces of DSP. I loved the Delightful Daisy DSP pack and have a few scraps left over. I pulled those, started layering, and came up with this design. I added a simple stamped daisy and sentiment to finish off the card.

Lemon and Bermuda Panda

Today’s card is just so cute! I love the retired Party Pandas stamp set to make adorable birthday cards. I wanted to steer away from the frilly and feminine so I pulled out Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay. I love this bright combination.

Sunny Celebration

Today’s card is the result of me playing around my Busho crystals more. I love the idea of adding color to black and white pattern paper. I dug through my scrap stash until I found a suitable piece and stared adding color. First I brayered on some Daffodil Delight ink as a base. I then added orange Brusho crystals and water, repeating until I received the desired effect. To finish off the card, I added some coordinating ribbon from my retired stash and simple sentiment.

I Heart Birthdays

Today’s card is another fun CASE from our demonstrator magazine. The original design showed a variety of patterned flowers on top of a two layer pattern piece. So, I dug through my random scrap stash and found a collection of Smoky Slate, Mint Macaron, and Calypso Coral pieces to coordinate together. I added a fun sentiment with hand-drawn border and a piece of retired Basic Gray ribbon.

Panda Expedition

Today’s card has been approved by Arthur. He told me that this one was his favorite of all the cards I’ve made so far. He just loves the Party Pandas. And I agree that it’s such a fun stamp set! I had to featured this retired Sale-a-Bration set today. I coordinated my panda with a few patterns from the Animal Expedition DSP pack. The design is another example from our demonstrator magazine that I modified.
