Glitter Unicorn

Today’s card is all about the sparkle! I found a chunk of this fun unicorn patterned paper just hanging out and had to create a fun and sparkly card to match it! I combined two retired framelit sets to create my scene. From there, I added a sentiment and some fun shiny pink sequins I picked up from the Target Dollar Spot some years back.

Lemon and Bermuda Panda

Today’s card is just so cute! I love the retired Party Pandas stamp set to make adorable birthday cards. I wanted to steer away from the frilly and feminine so I pulled out Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay. I love this bright combination.

Watercolor Butterfly

Today’s card is my result of playing with some ink and watercolor paper. I love the big butterfly from the Beautiful Day stamp set and tried a few different ways to color it. I finally settled on using ink and a watercolor technique to fill in my butterfly. I love how messy the coloring looks. From there, I found some scrap pieces of DSP that coordinate and added some fun embellishments.

Birthday Quartet

It's officially May which means it's time to say goodbye to all the retiring stamp sets. In total, I'm losing 18 stamp sets from my collection (although a few of those will be kept because I love them so much). Today's quartet of birthday cards is a direct CASE from Bree @ Craft-somnia Momma. How could I not CASE these? They are the perfect simple birthday cards to highlight the fun images from the Magical Day stamp set and the pretty Myths and Magic DSP (sadly discontinued already).

Dragon at the Keep

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create featuring animals. Surprisingly I have a ton of stamp sets featuring animals, but I chose to go in a slightly different direction. How about a mythical animal?

Mermaid in the Sea

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a shaker card. I immediately knew that I wanted to make a fun mermaid in the sea shaker card! I took a piece of DSP that reminded me of the sea and stamped on a few bubbles and seahorses. From there I stamped, colored, and die cut my mermaid. I propped her up on dimensionally and added a ton of sequins. I kept my overall piece simple with a piece of patterned paper, a sentiment, and a few sequins for embellishments.
