Every year for my birthday month I do something fun. This year I’ve committed myself to a stretch goal: 30 days of birthday cards. (I know that March has 31 days, but I think 30 Days of Birthday Cards sounds better…) I pulled out all my stamp sets and DSP and am aiming to try and and use all my stamp sets throughout the month. Of course I’ll be throwing in some quick and easy cards along with more complicated ones. Hoping for some great inspiration this coming month! And stay tuned! I will be posting some great SU specials starting tomorrow (specials are from me directly, not from Stampin’ Up! corporate).
30 Days of Lists - December 2018
I never actually shared my pages for December’s edition of 30 Days of Lists. Somehow this project just got lost in the shuffle. And it’s almost time for the next 30 Days of Lists! I decided to sit this one out due to lots of big life and crafting events this month, but if you want to join, check it out here.
For my December lists, I changed things up drastically. Instead of using my Project Life cards, I turned to my Memory Planner. I didn’t want to do December Daily in my Memory planner, so I had all these blank pages to fill. 30 Days of Lists was the perfect use! For each day, I wrote the topic and then filled each day in throughout the month. After each list was created, I decorated! I love how these pages ended up and I was saved from having blank pages. I also ended up adding the books that I read in December scattered throughout.
Currently
Reading: An Argumentation of Historians by Jodi Taylor. It’s the 9th book in the Chronicles of St. Mary’s series. Only reading before bed has resulted in only a chapter or two each night because I’m so tired. I want to finish before the end of the month…
Watching: J and I started watching (and rewatching in most cases) all of The Three Musketeers movie adaptations. I forgot how weird the tone is in the 1970s two parter.
Listening: Slowly making my way through the Presidential podcast episodes. I’m currently on Andrew Johnson.
Making: Still making birthday cards for March’s 30 Days of Birthday cards. I think I’m about 1/2 of the way done.
Feeling: Multiple snow days featuring treacherous road conditions have led to home days. We really need to get outside today.
Planning: Putting the finishing touches on our Spring Break plans.
Loving: Quentin has been extra snuggly lately. I love the snuggles!
Chosen Floral
Today’s card is a CASE from Connie Stewart. The Garden Impressions DSP pack has to by my most used pack this catalog. Just love all the patterns and colors. I knew I had to use it for this card, so I pulled my other elements to coordinate. If you look closely you can scored lines framing the DSP strip. As a last touch, I added a fun glittery enamel shape to my flower.
Stamps: Part of My Story; Pop of Petals
Inks: Melon Mambo; Calypso Coral; Shaded Spruce

Sunday Haul #4
Couldn’t resist putting in an order from Charlotte’s Paper Co. for this pretty spring pieces. I’m especially digging the Nose in a Book Mini Kit, cause you know, books!
I also received my order from Nerd’s the Word. I just had to take advantage of the flash sale last week and grab some monthly kits (love these) and a mini kit.
Cup of Happiness
Today’s card is just a explosion of fun colors. I adore the Needlepoint Nook DSP which is a surprise. I just usually gravitate to the feminine and country style papers, but this pack is just too beautiful. This pattern isn’t textured, but it sure looks like it! Love the detail. I decided to really showcase the paper and add a simple image of a coffee cup and some accessories. This card just makes me happy.
Stamps: Coffee Cafe
Inks: Versamark
Cardstock: Needlepoint Nook DSP; Powder Pink; Berry Burst; Whisper White
Accessories: Pearlized Doilies; Silver Enamel Shapes (retired); Berry Burst Ribbon (retired);
Tools: Coffee Cups Framelits; White Embossing Powder
January 2019 Memory Planner Pages
Another year, another Mambi Happy Planner as a fun personal Memory Planner. This year, I picked up an undated Memory Planner to use. I am going back to a vertical layout. I enjoyed the horizontal layout, but wanted to switch back. So here are my January pages. I really had a lot of fun adding in blue color sticers and special features. The Picture of the Week spots are my favorite.
The World Needs Flowers
Today’s card is is a collection of florals. I just love the patterns in the Garden Impressions DSP and the Pop of Petals Stamp Set. So I started layering some paper and stamped flowers. The result is a cute little card.
