Peekaboo Santa and Reindeer

Today’s card came from my need to color all the things!!! I colored a ton of Santas and reindeers and then had to figure out what to do with them. So I made some peekaboo panels to layer on top of these fun characters. Love it! I did a few different variations. Really love these cards.

SU Fall Bingo!.png

Reading: The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal. Finally got this one from the library and I’m really enjoying it!

Watching: All our currently airing shows (It’s Always Sunny, The Good Place, Superstore, Last Week Tonight).

Listening: I started listening to A Beautiful Mess podcast. They only have a few episodes out, but I always love reading their blog, so the podcast is some fun.

Making: Working on catching up with my Memory Planner pages. Just a few weeks left to do.

Feeling: We’re still feeling sick around here. Ugh!

Planning: Working on our holiday activities. I went through a ton of options and added them all to our calendar so I can remember all these.

Loving: I had a hankering for wacky cake and had to make it last night. Definitely hit the spot!

One Big Beautiful Ornament

Today’s card features one big stamped imaged! I grabbed this stamp set from a FB Stampin’ Up! buying and selling group for really cheap. I don’t know why I never bought it. I love the big ornament and the ability to color it however I like. For these cards, I heat embossed the image in gold, copper, silver, and pewter. From there, I created color groups and started coloring. Pairing the image with a coordinating cardstock and DSP scrap completes my card.

Hanging Ornaments

Today’s card inspiration comes from this card from Amy Koenders @ Stamp with Amy K. I loved the heat embossed hanging ornaments with the fun colored ornaments. I kept the rest simple with some pops of DSP as background and a coordinating ribbon. I pulled ton from my paper scrap stash and retired ribbon stash. I think that is the theme of this year’s Christmas cards.
