Teddy Bear Greetings

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a baby card. I decided to modify a old card that I made. I love the idea of of quilt cards, but wanted to put a different spin on it. So I left out a row of the quilt to put a cute teddy bear and sentiment in the middle. I really really really love this design!!! Such a cute card.

Hello Peacock!

Today's card was featured at February stamp club, but I forgot to post it here. Silly me! This Beautiful Peacock stamp set is a Level 1 SAB item, meaning you can still get it for free with a $50 or more order through March 31st. For my card, I stamped the peacock, tail, and little floral bits to fill up my piece of Very Vanilla. After adding on some DSP, a sentiment, and a few layering pieces, I focused on one last flourish. I created a Calypso Coral "tail" by unraveling a piece of Shimmer ribbon to the desired length. I used a small piece of Bermuda Bay ribbon to tie my unraveled piece off and attached to the peacock.

A Little Fox for Baby

I made this card way back in November, but I thought it was weird to post during the height of Christmas cards. So I kept it in reserve until now. How cute is this little fox? This is one of those stamp sets that I keep forgetting that I own. Why do I do that? I love this little stamp set. For this card, I stamped, punched, and assembled this cute little fox. From there, I picked a trio of paper patterns and added some texture with the snowflakes and embossing folder. I finished off the card with a sentiment and some pretty metallic washi tape.

Wonderful Shine

For this card, I CASEd this great card from Cindy @ Paper Craft Crew Challenges. I love making Christmas card with big sentiments! I kept the Wonderful Year stamp set from last year just for that reason. For this card, I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of whisper white, added a Garden Green layer, and put it all on a piece of beautiful gold foil paper. At first, I just saw the Bundle of Love DSP pack as baby paper, but the gold side is just so versatile. I'm sure it will be used a few more times before Christmas. As a finishing touch, I added a couple of punched gold foil snowflakes.

On the High Seas

Today's post features a card we made at September's stamp club. I bought the Message in a Bottle stamp set for Arthur and Quentin's pirate themed birthday party (not until October 7th), but of course I was going to make more cards using it. I love the little bottle that can filled with a variety of ocean themed objects. For this card, I decided on a ship in a bottle. I stamped the water onto my paper and onto a piece of scrap paper. To them cut the water out of my scrap paper to create a mask for when I stamped my ship. I wanted the ship to be floating in the water.  From there I added some white chalk marker to my sails and a bit to the water. I stamped my sentiment and stamped a little gray heart that I them glittered up with some Wink of Stella. From there I die cut my image, added my background pieces, and finally added a few sequins.
