Super fun collection of one-off stories. I loved revisiting the Lumberjane girls before my library received the next trade for me to read. My favorite story ending up being the one set in the Renaissance Faire. Apparently those woods really do have everything you can imagine! Loved the take on the Robin Hood story.

Fun! Fun! We get to meet another inhabitant of the mysterious woods outside camp. And we are on the hunt for the infamous Jackalope! This entire series really just makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

On a rainy day at Lumberjanes camp, the Roanokes explore tabletop gaming (with bonus magic!), and the underground tunnels beneath the Mess Hall.

The woods surrounding Miss Qinzella Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s Camp for Hardcore Lady-Types are home to more incredible magical critters and beings than anyone could possibly imagine…unfortunately, on this particular day, it’s pouring rain, and each and every ‘Jane has been tasked with just one job: stay inside, stay dry, and DON’T get into trouble. Confined to the Mess Hall, Jo and Molly give tabletop roleplaying a try, while Ripley, April, and Mal venture a little further afield after discovering a secret tunnel beneath the Kitchens...and the colossal prehistoric bug that lives there! Hey, they’re not technically outside, right?

Oooohhh I loved the split adventures of the campers. My favorite was definitely the aboveground adventures in the cabin. I loved the random twists and turns with the new board game. So much fun!

You just gotta learn to roll with the punches! When the yetis are kicked out of their humble treehouse abode, it’s up to Jo, April, Mal, Molly and Ripley to get them back where they belong amongst the trees...and not leeching the camp’s power and making all the ice cream melt. To get the sasquatches to clear out, though, the Roanoke girls will have to challenge them to a roller derby match!

Another fun adventure with the campers of Roanoke cabin! I loved the little story at the beginning involving Diana and Barney. But the real action is definitely the roller derby fun.

Oooohhh this volume was lots of fun! I loved seeing all the parents and getting a new adversary for the Lumberjanes. Super excited to see what happens next!

All she wants is more time to spend with her friends at camp, hiking and doing crafts, and playing music and having fun. What she doesn’t bargain for is time starting to skip, and freeze, and make campers’ ages jump forward and back… It’s up to Roanoke Cabin to to set time right again, and save camp! 

Finally we get more information (well sorta) about the mysterious thing in the woods. I'm so excited to learn more about what it going on in the forest. And the sentries were an interesting touch.

Between strange shadows and Diane being back, it looks like April, Jo, Mal, Molly, and Ripley are going to have their hands full trying to find a cure for their friends . . . as long as they don’t look the wrong thing in the eye first.

Oh yeah! We get the return of Diane/Artemis! Loved this adventure featuring a variety of Greek characters and some giant birds. This series is a breath of fresh air. I love dipping back into the lives of the Roanoke girls every once in awhile.

These trades are like a breath of fresh air. I love reading the adventures of the girls of Roanoke cabin. This volume has a great story featuring a high seas adventure. I loved meeting and adventuring with Seafarin’ Karen. And we get another great appearance from the Bear Woman.

I love this series oh so much! All of the characters are amazingly fun and cute! I loved seeing the arrivals of the girls to camp. And we get a great underwater adventure. Definitely need to grab the volume soon.

Oooohhhhh such mystery in this volume. I am so intrigued by the history of the camp and the various people involved. We get to learn a bit more about Rosie and the bear woman. Plus, we get the appearance of a great beast! I seriously loved this volume so much!

If you got it, haunt it!

Trying to take advantage of the first quiet day at camp in a while, Mal and Molly's date takes a bizarre turn with the appearance of the bear woman! Back at camp, Jo, April, and Ripley must stay on their toes as they try to earn every badge possible which ends up being a lot harder than any of them ever planned.

Mal and Molly’s date was great Lumberjanes fun including so much more from the bear woman. Plus, we get at least part of the answer to the question “where did those raptors from the outhouse actually com from?” But really my favorite part of the volume was the adventures of April, Jo, and Ripley. Their antics attempting to earn the “boring” badges was hilarious. I especially love the cake decorating episode.

Such great fun! I really really enjoyed this series. All of the characters are so great. I love seeing what happens next at their Not-quite-normal summer camp. One mystery was solved in this volume, but I just know that there are many more out there to explore.

I am an idiot for waiting this long to start this series. Such a delight! I immediately fell for each and every one of the Lumberjanes. And the overall deepening mystery of what’s going on at camp is just delightful. Must continue reading!
