Sunday Haul #6

I’ve had a few deliveries in this past few weeks. First off I received my little $1 Wednesday order from Fabulously Planned. Love the coffee theme!

I popped into Joann’s and grabbed some more items for my WITL kit and another Happy Planner sticker book that I don’t own.

My March Stampin’ Up! order arrived! I stocked up on some Cardstock in colors I’m running low on (apparently green is the color of March), some accessories (rhinestones and copper trim ribbon), a new bundle (Amazing Life stamp set and Rectangle Stitched Framelits), two embossing folders (Scattered Sequins and Country Floral), white embossing powder, and many reinkers (Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide, Early Espresso, Night of Navy).

April Crafting Goals

Apr2.jpeg

A recap of last month’s goals:

  • Finish out my 30 Days of Birthday Cards — Success!!!

  • Prep for April’s OnStage Event —Sorta… I haven’t finalized everything, but my basic plan is in place.

  • Make swaps for April’s OnStage Event? — I decided to not make swaps for OnStage. I just don’t think I have the time, supplies, and energy to make 50 swaps to take along.

  • Dive into Quentin’s 2018 PL Album — Success! I’m currently up to late March 2018.

  • Schedule March and April Events — Success!

  • Retiring Season Plan — No idea yet…

April’s Goals:

  • March Memory Planner Pages (and blog posts) - I’ve got the started, need to finish it out and document on my blog.

  • Quentin 2018 PL March to May - I finally got this one started last month. Now I want to knock out at least 2 1/2 months during April.

  • Family 2019 PL January - Also, I need to start our current year album. I have the physical album, but need to start laying it out.

  • Create a WITL kit - I haven’t decided if I’m going to do this in late April or early May, but I do want to get a kit around. I’m not buying a set kit, but pulling items from my stash.

  • Gather items for a craft sale - I need to do a bit of stash busting and part of that will be selling some retired stamp sets and items.

  • Plan May Events - Usual goal…

  • Have fun at OnStage!!!

February 2019 Memory Planner Pages

February’s pages got pushed to the background while I finished up my 30 Days of Birthday Cards. Thankfully I got them all finished this week and am ready to move on to March’s pages. Really loving my vertical Memory Planner for this year!

The 100 Day Project 2019!

02-startapril2nd.png

After much deliberation, I’ve decided to participate in this year’s 100 Day Project. 100 days can seem very daunting, and I usually shy away from these large long-term goals. But… after hearing more and more people jumping in this year, I started to think maybe I should also. But what to do? I just got done with 30 Days of Birthday Cards, so 100 cards is out. I need to recharge my creative card marking juices. 100 days of blogging sounds a bit boring to me and there’s not way I’ll stick to it. And then Elise Joy of blogging, Get to Work Book, and Elise Gets Crafty podcast fame talked about her goal in her newsletter. Short story: she’s doing “100 days to get it made” focusing on finishing and making progress on a ton of projects laying around her house. That’s it! That’s what I need to do! I have a ton of projects in various states of completion that keep gets pushed to the side by fancy new projects. So I’m going to focus and trying to accomplish my already started projects!

#100daysofcompleting

Short list of projects to complete:

  • Quentin’s 2018 PL album - currently in March

  • Arthur’s 2017 PL Album

  • Arthur’s 2018 PL Album

  • Family 2019 PL Album - haven’t even started, but do have the supplies

  • WITL 2019 kit

  • Various half-down cards laying around

I’ll probably also throw in some card that I’ll make from start to finish throughout the 100 days. And there’s usually a surprise project that crops up. So I’m not going to restrict myself too much. I just want to work on one of my projects each day. The daily time could be 5 minutes or 2 hours, but the idea is to do something toward one of my craft projects. I’m going to do weekly (or biweekly) posts on here with my progress. And I’m going to try to document daily on instagram (@TFrances19).

Last Birthday Card of March

3.png

Today’s card is a CASE from Amy Koenders @ Stamp with Amy K. One last birthday card for this March! I can’t believe I actually made 30 different birthday cards throughout this month. Whew! I am a bit tired of card making at the moment, but don’t worry, I’ll get back into card making very soon. For this card, I loved the example card so much that I just made my own. It’s so bright and shiny in real life. Love it!
