Bouquet Butterfly Wedding

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a wedding card. I don't make many wedding cards, but as soon as I saw the Petal Promenade DSP pack, I knew it would be perfect to celebrate. From there, I kept my elements simple by focusing on the die cut butterfly. I love the Whisper White Tulle Ribbon as a finishing touch!

Varied Vase Trio

Today’s card was another great card featuring at June's stamp club. I wanted to play with the Varied Vases stamp set. I ended up creating this cute vase trio image as my main focal point. Once my focus was set, I dug through all my paper to find some great coordinating patterns and found these two patterns in the Nature's Poem pack. I decided the card needed a bit more bling and so added some Champagne Glimmer Paper and a few Mint Macaron Faceted Gems.

Hand Delivered Bouquet

Today’s card was featured at June's stamp club. I wanted to make a variation of my annual catalog swap cards for my ladies. I switched out the DSP and changed the balloon image. Instead of cutting individual balloons and gluing them on, I stamped the balloon image onto my DSP and then cut out the entire bunch. Easy peasy! From there, I stamped and colored my woman and added a strip of coordinating DSP and ribbon.

Reading: Finally reading Parasite by Mira Grant. And it's oh so good! I will definitely have to pick up the other two books in the trilogy.

Watching: J and I are keeping up with the current season of Elementary. I'm wondering where they are going to take the serial killer storyline.

Listening: Catching up on my Bachelorette recaps with Here to Make Friends.

Making: Working on Project Life spreads once again. Hoping to finish out Arthurs 2017 album this month or July and keep current with the 2018 Family album.

Feeling: Last week was full of ups and downs. This week seems to be getting off to a better start. Hoping it continues.

Planning: Working on next month's activities and events. A few things are still up in the air and I need to get in touch with our visiting family.

Loving: Every time we go to the grocery, we have to buy the yummy yummy fresh strawberries. Oh so good!

Floral Easel

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create an easel card. For some reason, I always thought that these cards were difficult to make. Not so!!! All you have to do is take a card base measuring 4 1/2" x 11" and score in half (5 1/2"). From there, score the base at 2 3/4" to create the easel fold. So incredibly easy!!!! From there, I decided on my DSP choice to create a base and then Accented Blooms for my stamped image. I had a ton of fun coloring my stamped image in coordinating colors. I finished off my card with some Old Olive Ribbon and Faceted Gems.

Sunday Haul #11

I got two fun deliveries this week! The first one was an order of planner stickers from Pretty Cute Planner. I grabbed a few mini kits, two samplers, and some canceled stickers.

On Wednesday, I got the Stampin' Up! order. I'm trying to be a bit more strategic and buy complete kits instead of random supplies. This month's purchase will be used for some Pop of Petals cards for July's stamp club. I bought:

  • Pop of Petals Stamp Set
  • Four Way Flower Punch
  • Glitter Enamel Shapes
  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
  • Mango Melody Ink Pad
  • White Tulle Ribbon
  • Melon Mambo Reinker
  • Calypso Coral Reinker
