Valentine Panda

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a Valentine. I don't send out a lot of Valentines, but we do usually have an exchange with the kiddos. Keeping in mind that these were going to be for kids, I decided on the cute Party Panda stamp set as my focal point. From there, I just added a few cute layers and some fun heart paper.

Witches' Brew

Today's post is another Merry Cafe card. I just love these coffee cups so much. For this one I created my main coffee cup and then started adding the little extras. The spiderweb stamp was perfect for the corners. The striped image was great for a fill-in-the-gap stamp. And of course I had to cut out some great pumpkins and a witch's hat to add to my card.

Spooky Text Cat

Today's post is my favorite Halloween card of the season! I love this cute text cat on a background of jack-o-lanterns. I actually think that the jack-o-lantern paper is my favorite from the pack. It's too adorable! Beyond my cat, I stated a simple greeting and cute out the circle using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The stitching gives me the image that extra something! To finish off the card, I added some great black rhinestones and washi tape (retired from last year).

Trio of Witches' Hats

Today's post is a simple and fun Halloween card. I stamped the witches hats in the three Halloween colors from last year's catalog: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Perfect Plum. Using those colors gave me a chance use some of the leftover Halloween Night Enamel Shapes. Cute and simple.

Rat Crossing

Today's post is all about the Cat Punch in the Spooky Cat bundle. This card was super easy peasy! I punched the cat out, fussy cut the witch's hat, added some rhinestones, and stamped on some texture and rats. I finished the card with a strip of DSP and a sentiment. This card was one of the two Halloween themed options I showcased at September's stamp club. (The other card will be featured later this month.)

Cat Duo

fnc2017.jpg

Today's post is my last Halloween card of the season. I have completely fallen for the cat punch. I love punching out different patterned cats. I am sure I will be using this punch into the spring. But for this card, I punched a cat from the paper and then one from some great patterned DSP to create this cat duo. I embossed my piece of Very Vanilla leaving a section of un-embossed paper in the middle to layered my DSP strips. Finally I added a punched sentiment. Perfect!

PSL Anyone?

It's September, which means it's Pumpkin Spice Latte time! And perfect for me, Stampin' Up! has the perfect stamps set to celebrate my love of the PSL. And they have the cutest piece of geometric DSP from the Painted Autumn Pack. I went simple leaving the focus on my PSL cup. This is a simple card, except for the fussy cut pumpkins. At least I only had to do it once.

Hoo Hoo Halloween

Today's post is all about the cute owl stamp in the Spooky Cat set. I loved how the owl can be stamped into the tree branch from the designer series paper stack. From there I added his orange accents (ignore his slight orange chest) and black eyes. The cute witch's hat was fussy cut from the paper. This card was one of the two Halloween themed options I showcased at September's stamp club. (The other card will be featured later this month.)

Falling Leaves

Today's post features the last of our September stamp club projects. I wanted to make a autumn inspired card, but hadn't bought any of the fall themed stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog and had run out of Painted Autumn DSP. So what to do? Pull out a favorite retired stamp set and create my own background! I added some Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango to a piece of Whisper White using a brayer. I love how the brayer gives the pieces a textured look without the physical texture. From there I stamped on some leaves using Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I love this look so much! From there, I added some great accessories and a great sentiment.

Fall Bingo -- Holiday Cards

Last Saturday, I held my second Stampin' Up! Bingo Party. It was so much fun! For this time, I went with a fall theme even though it was over 100 degrees this past weekend. This week, I'll be sharing the projects I prepped and the make n takes from the party.

Today's post is all about the make n takes I created featuring Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas items from the Holiday Catalog. I gave my ladies a choice for their goody bags. Some went with a combo of two holidays and some stuck with one holiday. From there, I created a few examples. The two designs could be switched to the other holidays by just switching out the paper, sentiments, and accessories. Easy Peasy! The first card is simple but oh so cute! I embossed my layer of Whisper White and layered on some DSP and a cute coffee cup. For the final touch, I added a cute felt shape.

  • Stamps: Merry Cafe
  • Inks: Garden Green; Real Red
  • Cardstock: Quilted Christmas DSP; Garden Green; Whisper White; Crumb Cake
  • Accessories: Stitched Felt Embellishments
  • Tools: Polka Dot Embossing Folder; Coffee Cups Framelits

For my second card, I switched out the theme to Thanksgiving I added some stamped leaves using tone on tone stamping to play off the DSP. From there I created another cute coffee cup and finished off my card with some natural elements.

  • Stamps: Merry Cafe
  • Inks: Cajun Craze
  • Cardstock: Painted Autumn DSP; Cajun Craze; Very Vanilla
  • Accessories: Burlap Ribbon; Natural Elements
  • Tools: Coffee Cups Framelits

And here are all the wonderful cards the ladies created with their supplies. Such different cards here! Love it!
