I finally got my order from rukristin from her Black Friday sale. Actually it came last week, but I sent it to the in-law's house and they were away for a few days. So, I finally got it in my hands last night... So excited to start using the Currently stamp and post-its. And loving those little arrows.
Sunday Haul #23
A small week. I rerouted a few of my monthly subscriptions to arrive at my mom's in Indiana, but a few are going to the new house in California. I'll have to wait until I get back to play with those supplies. I did get my Paper Issues Swag Bag while here. The best part are the monthly cards. An entire pack of them! They will be perfect for my new monthly PL format.
Travel Craft Kit
I knew I wanted to take some crafting supplies with me while visiting in Indiana... but how to do it? After perusing some ideas online, I latched on to the idea of using a makeup bag. They are a great size. They have multiple compartments. And most importantly, they aren't hugely expensive! I went to Target and grabbed this cute Orla Kiely makeup bag with nice handles.
Then I went to town filling it will my supplies... First up was my tools and writing implements. I used one of the side pockets and filled it will markers, journaling pens, pens, paper piercers, knife, and lots of adhesives.
The opposite side pocket holds all my small embellishments and accessories. Packed in there I have sequins, washi tape, stamps (Paper Pumpkin for Nov and Dec), glitter glue, enamel dots, etc.
The middle section holds some post it notes (always handy for planning out my PL pages) and loose paper. I had some extra sheets for the December memories albums, so I put them in here for safe keeping.
Finally I added my few ziploc bags. One bag has die cuts for the December memories albums. Another bag has my December days numbers. And yet another holds some stickers, enamel dots, and more die cuts.
The bag barely closes, but that's okay! Most of these crafting elements will be used in the multiple December albums I'm creating. It should be a lot less full come January.
5 on 5
On the 5th of each month I'll be highlighting five pictures of crafty projects, inspiration pieces, or fun products. I wanted to add some great pictures and give everyone a bit of insight into my creative process.
1. I have my bases for homemade calendars. Not sure when I'm going to finish these (may be traveling with me to Indiana), but I'm excited to get to them.
2. Over 200 pictures printed for my big Project Life catch up. Determined to get these 5 weeks done before leaving on the 23rd.
3. I've been hoarding these two scrapbook albums for at least a year. I'm thinking of making mini December Daily albums for grandma and MIL.
4. I couldn't resist these pretty glittered snowflakes at Michael's the other day. I don't need them per say, but I had to have them. They will be making an appearance in my DD album.
5. All these boxes (plus two others on the desk) are hopefully going to be sold at a craft fair on the 15th. I spent a few days going through my big inventory of completed cards and pulled a ton to sell. We'll see how it goes.
Sunday Haul #22
A ton of new acquisitions this past week. So excited to play with these supplies!
This is October's Take Ten Kit. Love the fall themed cards and wood veneers. Hoping to use most of these cards for Oct/Nov PL spreads.
Along with this month's Take Ten Kit, I added on the December kit and the additional supplemental December kit. Can't resist Christmas supplies. The supplies above and below will be making appearances in my December Daily spreads.
Finally I grabbed the Paper Issues swag bag for this month. I love the variety of embellishments and cute PL cards. Especially loving the leaf wood veneers. Can't wait to work them into our PL spreads.
Sunday Haul #21
So... I went a little crazy at Michael's this week. I may have a problem. I went in for sticky strip for a class and came out with a ton of fun embellishments.
Sunday Haul #20
A quick trip to Michael's for snail and I couldn't resist some clearance items. I grabbed some basic black thickers (I can never have too many alphas), some blue twine, and some great gold chevron washi tape. I've already dug into the washi tape for a parent's group craft, but plan on using most of it for my December Daily album. (Coming soon to the blog...)
Sunday Haul #19
My October Paper Issues Swag Bag and extra goodies came. I love the grab bag of embellishments. All for $10! Plus, some boys stickers, an extra Christmas stamp and stickers, and map themed star stickers.
I also received my last Blitsy order. Lots of Christmas supplies and a few extras cuteness.
Finally, I got my October SU order this week. Lots of fun goodies!
- Paper Pumpkin refill
- Kraft journals (3 sets for an upcoming class)
- Petite Pairs stamp set
- Real Red ink (have old ink pad, wanted new foam one)
- Mossy Meadow CS
- Brights Variety CS

On the 5th of each month I'll be highlighting five pictures of crafty projects, inspiration pieces, or fun products. I wanted to add some great pictures and give everyone a bit of insight into my creative process.
1. These two giant piles are for our October events. We have Arthur's first birthday party, a preschool playdate that I'm running, and the fall social. I've been buying supplies here and there. Subsequently, they've all ended up in a couple of big boxes on the floor of the office. I need to take a final inventory this weekend and figure out if I'm missing anything. (probably am...)
2. Not a craft project, but definitely the reason why I'm not crafting that much this week. Arthur is in destruction mode all the time!
3. Can't wait to use these pretty November/Thanksgiving themed project life cards. Such prettiness.
4. Birthday party prep. I've got the base of the display board completed; just need the photos. And I've labeled all the goody bags with the first letter of each baby's name. I plan on adding a cute space themed tag to the bags.
5. I grabbed this cute Thanksgiving craft kit at Michael's for 50% off. I can't wait to use that same display board recovered with fun Thanksgiving decorations.
Sunday Haul #18
A fun grab bag of holiday goodies from a FB seller. I got a ton of cut aparts for Thanksgiving and Christmas, PL value pack partials, a 6x6 baby boy paper pad, and some Christmas stickers and die cuts.
I finally decided to buy an enveloped punch board. I got it for 30% off at Michael's while buying items for Arthur's birthday party, preschool playdate, and fall social. And I've already used it!
Finally, I snagged a 6x6 paper pad on serious discount on Amazon.
My second order from Blitsy came on Friday. Look at all those alphas! So excited to be able to make actual words. And the embellishments are just perfect metallics.
