More Stacked Snowmen

Today’s card is a repeat of my the stacked snowmen from Lots of Cheer stamp set. I pulled out two more colored snowmen and tried to decide how to feature the image. I landed on a watercolored piece of paper to serve as a backdrop. From there I layered more cardstock and a piece of scrap DSP to create my base. I added a tone on tone sentiment, popped up the snowman on dimensionals, and finished the card with a glittery chipboard star.

Simple Panels

Today’s card is a simple panel card featuring images from the retired Color Me Christmas stamp set. I love the nontraditional Christmas colors featured on this card. They just make me happy! This cute card was finished off with various ribbon scraps. I had this random silver ribbon sitting in my stash. It paired perfectly with these colors.

Embellished Tree

Today’s card features a great Christmas tree embossing folder I picked last year on deep clearance. I couldn’t figure out a way to feature it in a card design. Finally I figured, why not make it the feature of the card? And so I embossing a piece of Shaded Spruce, cut it out with an Oval Die and layered it all on some fun DSP. For a final touch, I added some enamel shapes. Perfect!

Frosty Christmas

Today’s card inspiration comes from this card from Linda Dalke. I love the look of silver and navy on Christmas cards so I knew I had to dedicate at least one design to the color combination. I kept this card fairly simple in design allowing the shine to really come through. My favorite part is the silver glimmer paper peeking out from under the sentiment.
