3PKyE93.jpg

Pages Read Today: 297 (Unspoken) + 224 (College Girls)
Pages Read Total: 1360

Books Read Today: 1
Books Read Total: 4

Comments: I didn't quite reach my goal of 5 books in one week, but I came pretty darn close. I'll be finished with College Girls probably Tuesday. It's a dense history book so it takes me a bit longer to read. Overall, I am very happy with what I read this past week. Very excited to continue the reading momentum!

Goals:

  • Read 5 books
  • Read 1000 pages ✓
  • Review all books read ✓
  • Read books only from my shelves -- I failed a bit at this by reading The Hazel Wood, but I justify the exception because I had to wait on the library hold.

  • College Girls by Lynn Peril (in progress)
  • Unspoken by Sarah Brennan ✓
  • Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik
  • The Dinner List by Rebecca Serle

Comments: I sped through the wonderfully horrific volume that was The Hazel Wood. From there I found myself at a bit of a loss and flailed around my bookshelves until pulling out and starting Unspoken.

I'm rejoining my favorite readathon of the year! I love Bout of Books, but last time was a disaster. This time around, I'm hoping to knock off a few books from my nightstand stack. I don't want to pack all those books, so I better get reading.
