Prompt: Tell us about your blog name. Where did it come from?

The official title my blog is Wading Through the Ocean of Life. I usually just shorten it to Wading Through... on my communications. The name comes from a short story that I wrote back in college. The story was titled "The Place that Bordered Death" and dealt with a mother and daughter dealing with life and loved ones passing. It was set beside the beautiful blue water of the Mediterranean. For some reason, the sea has always inspired me. I view life as an ocean. Sometimes it's tranquil lit by sunshine. Other times it's rough, dark, and foreboding. And so, whether I'm in a good place or a rough patch, I always picture myself wading through the ocean. Eventually things will change, but you have to keep going.
