3D Christmas Tree

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card featuring some punch art. I choose to go simple and create a Christmas tree out of one of my punches. After digging through, I settled on the Christmas bulb punch to create the “leaves.” From there, I stamped some leaf detail using a retired stamp and got to punching. After assembling my tree, I added a few ornaments with a hole punch and a tree topper with a star punch. For a final touch, I added some Wink of Stella “snow” to my card face.

Quilted Thank You

Today’s card is one of those card designs that I’ve been meaning to try out for some time now. I love the look of these quilted cards, but they looked like so much work. Thankfully they aren’t that complicated at all. Cut 8 pieces of DSP 1 1/4” square and two pieces of DSP or solid yardstick 2 5/8” square. From there, all you have to do is glue the pieces on. I used liquid glue so I could play with the placement and tuck pieces in before they got stuck. Easy peasy!

Thankful for You!

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a gratitude card. I had to showoff the gorgeous Frosted Floral DSP in some way, but wanted to stay with the autumn colors. So I paired this with the Many Blessings stamp set and the leaves from Making Everyday Bright stamp set. Perfect pairing!

All is Bright Suite

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card featuring one of the Holiday Catalog Suites. As soon as I got my catalog, I knew I needed to have the All is Bright Suite! I love the color combinations, the paper, accessories, and all the coordinating stamp sets! This card is all about using the various elements from that suite.  I had fun layering various elements to create a full card. My favorite part is the addition of the paper clip.

Christmas Cat

Today’s card is another fun and layered Christmas card for this season. I incorporated some fun little elements (cat punch, paper clips) with the great patterns of the Festive Farmhouse DSP pack. I might have to make a few more of these with different patterns from the pack.

SSINKTC54: Copper Starburst

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using the starburst technique. I love making starburst cards even if they take a bit of planning and construction. I was drawn to the beautiful shine in the Joyous Noel DSP. To amp up the sparkle, I added some of the Copper Glimmer paper from the accompanying Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper pack. I added a coordinating strip of DSP and a simple sentiment to complete my card.

Sunday Haul #21

For this year’s December Daily, I decided against the Ali Edwards kit and went instead for the Document December kit from Elle’s Studio. I really really loved the imagery and the colors in this year’s kit. In addition to the kit itself, I grabbed some extra tags and accessories plus a cute coffee kit.

Trio of Ladies

Today’s cards have been sitting half done for months now. I had a whole stack of these unfinished cards and took a Saturday to knock them out. I had the Regal Rose card bases and smaller pieces cut for a previous card, but had sold the stamp set that I used for those cards. SO I improvised with a different stamp set. I stamped three different images from the Hand Delivered Stamp Set and had some fun coloring them.

  • Cardstock: Regal Rose; Daffodil Delight; Whisper White

  • Accessories: Candy Dots (retired)
