Reading: Code Girls by Liza Mundy. I’m over 50% through the book and so far, it’s really good.

Watching: Finishing out our month of movies this week.

Listening: I’ve listened to a few more episodes of Presidential. I’m up to Zachary Taylor. I’ve known a lot of the information presented, but I still find them enjoyable.

Making: I dove back into Quentin’s Project Life album which was stalled in March 2017. I just got my page protectors so I can continue this week.

Feeling: I’m not sure why, but I’m feeling very unmoored this week. Must find a way to stabilize myself.

Planning: Nick and Alex’s 16th birthday is coming up soon. We’re figuring out what kind of party/adventure they want to have.

Loving: I’ve been finding more snipped of time to read more lately. Love it so much!

Desktop Tuesday #2

Currently in between projects. The Project Life stack on the right side is waiting on more page protectors so I can actually do the spreads. Quentin’s album was stuck all the way back in February 2017. I’ve printed the pics through July 2017 and got them sorted. Just need to put in pages, journal a bit, and embellish. I also have an storage case under the desk with all the card kits. Waiting on plastic sleeves to make the kits and prep to send out. I might take some time to work on some cards for February today.

Currently

Reading: A Precious Jewel by Mary Balogh. Went back to my trusty standards: Regency romances.

Watching: We’re in the middle of January movie month around here. Only missed one day so far (for book club so totally valid).

Listening: Lots of hard rock around here. Right now, I’m obsessed with the Resist album from Within Temptation.

Making: Working on some fun Step It Up card sets. Love showing off two different card using the same designs.

Feeling: Excited about upcoming events!

Planning: I just registered for my first Stampin’ Up! convention for April. Previously the conventions have been too far away or ill timed (babies and such). This is the first one I can actually go to and I’m excited. I’ll be joining my good friend Pam in Minneapolis!

Loving: I finished with my December Daily album this week, which means all the Christmas supplies can go into storage for another year! This clears out my crafting area substantially.

It's Moving Day!

The day is here! Goodbye sunny moderate California, hello blustery and chilly Nebraska! The boys and I are on a plane leaving the west coast for a quick trip to Indiana before driving over to Nebraska and settling into our new home. It's going to take me a few days to unpack my craft supplies, but thankfully I thought ahead and scheduled some projects to feature on the blog. I'll share photos of the new house once we get in.

Reading: Continuing the Lynburn Legacy trilogy with Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan.

Watching: I was away for the pst few days, so not watching much right now.

Listening: All weekend, we were rocking The Mixtape channel on Apple Music.

Making: I need to finish the Bingo Make n Takes ahead of Saturday’s event. I have them about 40% done.

Feeling: Last weekend’s retreat really did allow me to rest a bit. Feeling decent now.

Planning: Our move is just a few weeks away. Trying to get the last minutes tasks listed and accomplished.

Loving: Had to stop at the pie place in Guerneville multiple times over the weekend. I got Green Apple Chili, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Pumpkin, and Peach Blueberry Basil. So good!

Reading: Finally got into Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik and it's amazing!

Watching: J and I are determined to finish Legion S2 before we move, but we can only watch one episode every couple of nights. It's too dense!

Listening: An amazing FB group I'm in started creating a Spotify playlist. It's up to almost 500 songs now. I'm loving going through it and listening to others's favorite songs.

Making: Bingo is Saturday and I need to finish the supply packets and make n take cards.

Feeling: I've got a huge to-do list, but I'm feeling determined to get it all done!

Planning: We have three full weeks left in California so I'm finishing filling our days with activities with friends and last minute appointments.

Loving: My big to-do list is my best friend right now. I need to stay focused and on task.

Mad Scientist Birthday Party!

As we are moving at the end of the month, we decided to have the boys's birthday party early. On Saturday we hosted a Mad Scientist Party. While I bought a lot of the decor, I did improvise a few things and made some handmade items.
