I did a bit clean out of my clothes and it feels so good to be organized.
Plus the playroom is so clean right now!
Spooky October movie month is going well. So far, I think the original The Mummy has been my favorite.
I need more apple cider!

Four hours at the pumpkin patch may be my limit, but it was fun while it lasted.
It’s Quentin’s 3rd birthday… I think I might need to make a small cake for tonight’s dessert.
Renewed interest in hosting a crop day. I’m thinking late October.
Looking forward to all the spooky reads for next month. I jumped the gun a bit by reading Wilder Girls by Rory Power this past week.
Cooler temps this week have been amazing. I get to sleep with a comforter again!

I know it’s only September, but I’m already feeling the reading challenge crunch. Still my reading has been crazy lately!
Birthday party planning is entering into the final phases. I have a growing pile of supplies that have been delivered. I have a food list created. Working on finalizing our activities and waiting for RSVPs.
Starting to make October’s spooky reading list. I love Halloween time so much!
Bought a sparkly pumpkin sign for outdoors and Q has to say hello to it every time we come home.
Found some great clothing pieces at the Goodwill this week. Can’t wait to wear my new fall clothes.

I want to bake all the things! Unfortunately I’m sick and have no energy…
Spending two days resting at home (in between home and childcare tasks of course) has allowed me to catch up on some television.
I love smooth writing plans.
This year’s birthday party theme is fun on paper, harder to translate to real things. Really need to work on the activities…

Ugh, The Bachelorette! Luke P is so manipulative. I don’t even want to see him come back next week. And I’m so afraid that Hannah is going to be pick Jed. Argh!
Not looking forward the to the next couple of days. Temps are going to be in the high 90s and low 100s. I’m so hot all the time.
On a happier note, I’m taking the littles to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum today. I haven’t been in over 10 years. Super excited!

Thinking about creating a summer bucket list and zoo scavenger hunt in travelers’s notebooks. Departure from the usual only digital format, but the idea came to me at the Children’s Museum (they had a mini scavenger hunt for their newer exhibit).
Seriously need to follow through with a library ban… It’s a bit out of control.

Also looking forward to my solo drive to and from Minneapolis. Loading up my podcasts and music on my phone. I hardly ever have alone time and I definitely need some time away.
Finishing N.K. Jemisin’s Broken Earth trilogy and I feel like I’m going to have a book (series) hangover. So incredibly amazing!
I was bad this week and checked out eight more books from the library. Bad Tobe! Four of them are recipe/homemaking books so easy quick “reads,” but still I was supposed to be weaning myself off the library for awhile.
Kindergarten Parent meeting on Tuesday gave me all the feels. Gearing up to do this whole school thing again in the fall.
Did I mention that I’m excited about OnStage? Can’t wait to hang out with Pam and get my craft on!

Four days stuck in the house due to a winter storm… It was rough! We needed to get out. We rescheduled out zoo day for tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully we can get out there and have some fun.
Constant meal planning and prepping is getting to me. We may need to re-introduce a meal delivery kit for once a month.
Super excited for our Spring Break in Indiana along with a stop at Legoland!

The cold! We were at the western edge of the polar vortex this week, but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t cold. School was canceled yesterday due to the weather.
Finishing up my 29th book of the year so far. I don’t think my Goodreads goal of 175 book is going to be hard to attain at this rate.
Broke my promise to not get more books from the library. I have a bag full of comics sitting by my chair. Oops!
Searching for a new pajama set is proving to be surprisingly difficult… I might just have to go back to Victoria’s Secret.
Q’s diaper rash (was really bad two days ago) has gotten a lot better. Here’s hoping for dry bottoms.
I hate dealing with health insurance. That is all.

My amazing plan to take Quentin to the gym pool on Wednesday was thwarted by an epic 40 minute tantrum. Maybe next week. Le sigh.
Speaking of, I’m really craving some gym time (last time was Sunday morning). I am willing to go at 7pm, but I really hope we can find another earlier time that works.
January’s reads are turning out to be a mixed bag. Some great. Lots of middling reads.

On the other hand, January movie month is going much better. Some great movies so far!
Attempting to navigate the Nebraska DMV site is giving me a headache.
I moved all the random crap so I can park in the garage again! (Just in time for Friday-Satruday’s storm) It’s a tight squeeze, but the van fits. I have to pull all the way in and pull in the mirrors. Fun fun!
Downloaded the Me and White Supremacy workbook from Layla F. Saad. Need to find some dedicated time to dive in, but looks very interesting.
