Merida's outfit is very functional but hip. I kept flashing back to those scenes of her riding horses and engaged in archery. I wanted to give her an outfit that allowed her to do just that. The pants are functional yet stylish. The top is comfy without being a t-shirt and the jacket is perfect for throwing on on top. I'm especially digging her backpack. Very cool!
