A Winter's Respite Readathon -- Starting Line
After a not-so-great Bout of Books earlier in January, I realized that I need to re-evaluate my expectations when it comes to readathons. Gone are the days of unlimited reading. My 3-month-old demands too much of my time to be able to read 2000 pages in one week. So, I am scaling back. I still want to commit myself to read more than usual, but I'm going to keep the goals realistic.
Goals:
- Read two books
- Review all books read
- Read each day
TBR Pile (my pile of choices, not mandatory reads):
- Living History by Hillary Rodham Clinton
- Lessons in French by Laura Kinsale (in progress)
- The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus
- Time Enough for Love by Robert Heinlein
- Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry
- Iron Legends by Julie Kagawa
- Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
