Good Things: February
I ran across this idea on Kapachino who got the idea from The Literary Wife. I love the concept of trying to focus on the positives on life. And I am going to try to do this: record at least one good thing every day for a year. Here's February's list:
- Dinner and Star Trek with one of J's friends.
- Awesome craft meet and greet over lunch.
- Sick, but great TV shows to comfort.
- Laurie R. King author event at Santa Clara library.
- Started The Moon is a Harsh Mistress and actually like it.
- J came home early, so dinner at Rok.
- Finished ST:TNG Season 1.
- Possible good news, but must wait for confirmation.
- A partial confirmation.
- A good night's sleep.
- Lots of energy for house cleaning.
- Reading The Forgotten Garden... awesome book.
- Walked to the library, found some great books.
- J sent me flowers!
- Energy for card making.
- Sick, but J took care of me.
- Spent the day lounging.
- Another day relaxing and reading.
- A great card class to get me out of the house.
- Free craft night with Pam and new friend Kati.
- Chicken salad sandwich and mocha at the coffeehouse.
- Started Battlestar Galactica.
- Almost completed "Reviews by Author" page on blog.
- Fun and yummy Dishcrawl in Mountain View.
- Awesome stamp club night.
- Good news confirmed.
- Got a chunk of reading done.
- Beautiful sunny day for a walk.
