Celebrate This March

3.png

Some days you don’t want to stamp on your card, and that’s okay. For today’s card, I simply die cut a sentiment and layered on some fun pattern paper pieces. This card took all of 5 mintues to create, but it still looks great.

Layered Tea Room

Today’s card is a classic design with fun products. I really like the Tea Room DSP, but I often don’t know how to use it without being overwhelming. This layered pendant design is the perfect solution. Simply layer, add a sentiment, and finish off with a few embellishments. Easy peasy! And a great card.

A Cup of Giggles

Today’s card is a celebration of bright colors and fun beverages! The Coffee Cafe stamp set and coordinating dies are always a favorite in my stash. For this card, I made a fun confection in Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana. This striped paper from the How Sweet It Is DSP pack is just too fun. You’ll be seeing again later this month.

March Crafting Goals

Mar1.jpeg

A recap of last month’s goals:

  • Finish January MP Pages — Success!

  • Finalize travel/hotel plans for April’s Stampin’ Up! Convention — Success! Pam and I booked a cute AirBnB fairly close to downtown.

  • Schedule February and March Classes and Events — Fail.

  • Finish 2017 in Quentin’s PL Album — Success!

  • Start 2019 Family PL Album — Ummm…. well, I have actually started it, but I did buy the new album and page protectors.

  • Prep weekly sales for March — Success!

  • Prep 30 Days of Birthday Cards (March) — Success! I have some of the cards already done and started prepping drafts and ideas for the rest.

March’s Goals:

  • Finish out my 30 Days of Birthday Cards — It’s been started. Now I need to finish it!

  • Prep for April’s OnStage Event — This will be here before I know it. I need to check with my friend to work out some details and decide what to take with me.

  • Make Swaps for April’s OnStage Event? — Possibly making swaps for OnStage, but what exactly?

  • Dive into Quentin’s 2018 PL Album — I’ve got the physical album and page protectors. Now to start the spreads.

  • Schedule March and April Events — I’ve got this started (things are on the calendar), but I need to work out what cards for what events and such.

  • Retiring Season Plan — The new SU catalog comes out in June. In May, I usually have events and posts highlighting retiring products and such. I want to brainstorm some ideas this month.
