Kinda Eclectic Swap Card

My Stampin' Up demo FB group decided to do a new catalog swap for June-July.  We all had to pick one new stamp set to highlight in our cards.  We then had to use that stamp set to create the same card to send to all the other demos participating (7 in this case).  All materials used had to be current SU products.

Card Inspiration fromMarlene Goulder

I choose to use Kinda Eclectic.  Flipping through the new catalog for the first time, Kinda Eclectic immediately caught my eye.  The set is a bit abstract, but with a great variety of shapes.  Even before I received my stamp set, I knew I wanted to incorporate some type of shine.  I tried heat embossing on the gold foil paper, but it didn't turn out very well.  I scrapped that idea and went with staz-on ink onto the gold foil.  I love that the stamp isn't completely solid.  The entire effect of the card is very rustic.
